Though, the Ek-ZeKil has a powerful special attack, while the masterwork sword does not.

The Ek-Zekkil can also be enchanted to have its damage and accuracy increased by 5 tiers to tier 100 with a Shard of Genesis Essence. This would make it equal the masterwork sword in damage and accuracy, while still retaining the powerful special attack.

The sword is considered to be an obsidian weapon, meaning that the berserker necklace provides 5% damage bonus when worn.
