Players can then choose between a crystal bow or a crystal shield. For the same price as a shield, a crystal halberd is also available to players who have completed the Hard Western Provinces Diary.

Players can also exchange the weapon seed for 10 crystal shards by speaking to Amrod in Prifddinas' Hefin Inn. The seed can additionally be traded to Pennant in Prifddinas for one crystal acorn.

When converting a crystal seed to a crystal bow and crystal shield, they cannot be traded or be used for high alchemy.
