It will only stop burning entirely if the player is wearing a Cooking cape, or using Cooking gauntlets at level 97 (87 if elite Kourend & Kebos Diary is completed while cooking at the city kitchens).

When at level 93 Hitpoints the Anglerfish is the highest single consumption food, alongside the dark crab, tuna potato and manta ray. The anglerfish has the ability to overheal unlike the others, though the dark crab has the lowest weight. The tuna potato has the lowest Cooking requirement, but highest weight.
