You don’t need to worry too much about secondary stats until you’ve maximized your Intellect. Higher item-level gear will usually be a direct upgrade for you, especially in terms of Intellect. So, focus on increasing your item level to get better gear for boosting your primary stat.
Secondary Stat Priority

- Mastery: Mastery is a unique stat for every spec, and for Augmentation Evokers, it’s Time Walker. - Critical Strike: This stat increases the chance to deal double damage and healing. As you gain more Critical Strike, you'll have a higher likelihood of landing those big, impactful hits or heals. This stat is important for boosting the reliability and impact of your spells, but it’s secondary to Mastery when considering how it affects your support role.
- Haste: Haste is essential for increasing your attack speed and spellcasting speed. For example, when you cast Living Flame, which normally takes around 1.9 seconds to cast, increasing your Haste will reduce that cast time, allowing you to perform your actions more efficiently. Haste also impacts damage over time (DoT) effects, allowing enemies to take damage more quickly as ticks happen more frequently. It’s great for speeding up your casting and dealing sustained damage, so it’s an important stat to consider once you have sufficient Mastery and Critical Strike.

- Landslide: Landslide allows you to cast a path of Shifting Stone towards a target location, rooting enemies within the area for 15 seconds. The route effect can be interrupted by damage, so it’s important to use this when you can ensure the target is not taking damage immediately. - Suppressing Roar: This ability emits a cone that affects all enemies within its range. Any crowd control (CC) placed on the enemies will have its duration increased by 50%. The ability will target the nearest ally within 25 yards, prioritizing damage dealers, so you’ll want to make sure that your best DPS players have this buff active at all times.
- Blistering Scales: This ability is used to protect an ally, particularly the tank, by applying explosive dragon scales to them. It increases their armor by 30% of your own armor, and melee attacks against the target cause the scales to explode, dealing damage to nearby enemies. The damage can only occur every few seconds, and it can only be applied to one target at a time, making it ideal for the tank.
- Eban Might: Every 30 seconds, you should use Eban Might to increase the primary stats of your four nearest allies by 5% of your own. This ability is best used on damage dealers, and it can be extended by casting Eruption, Breath of Eons, or any Empowered spells.
