WoW The War Within 11.0.7 is one of the biggest updates for the game so far. Siren’s Isle introduces lots of new things. Things To Do In 11.0.7 First

Patch 11.0.7 is finally here, bringing us a whole lot of new content to dive into. We’ve got a brand-new zone, a powerful new ring that you’ll definitely want to grab, and plenty of cosmetic rewards to enhance your collection. However, to make the most of this patch, starting with certain activities will save you time and make everything else much smoother.

Here, we’ll walk you through everything there is to do in Patch 11.0.7. You’ll learn how to get your hands on the Cryce's Circlet ring, upgrade it with powerful gems, and focus on what’s most important right from the start.

Unlock the Siren Isle

The very first thing you’ll want to tackle in this patch is unlocking the new zone, Siren Isle, and acquiring the ridiculously powerful ring. To get started, head over to Dagal and make your way to the Foundation Hall.

This is the large room where the portals to your capital cities are located. Inside, look for an earthen NPC named Dawn, who will have a pink triangle above their head marking an important quest: The Expedition Awaits.

This quest line is your gateway to the new zone, Siren Isle. Follow through the storyline, and you’ll eventually discover a tomb featuring a singing crystal. It’s here that you’ll find your ring—the Cryce's Circlet.

And yes, you literally swipe it off a skeleton lying beside the crystal. Continue with the quests a little further, and you’ll be teleported back to the main hub. That’s it—you’ve unlocked the zone and obtained your ring in one go.

Get Your Cryce's Circlet Ring

The Cryce's Circlet ring is easy to obtain; it’s just a matter of completing the short questline. But don’t expect the ring to be game-changing on its own—it’s the gems that bring the real power.

Get Your First Gem

You’ll receive your first gem shortly after picking up the ring. This initial gem boosts your secondary stats, making the ring immediately usable. Slot it into the ring, and you’ll have something functional and beneficial to equip right away.

Here’s the best part: once you unlock the ring and the first gem on one character, all your alts can completely skip the introduction questline.

This means your alts will automatically receive the ring and their first gem, saving you the hassle of repeating the process across multiple characters. It’s a small but welcome quality-of-life improvement.

Do This BEFORE Questing

Unlocking Key Features Before Diving In

At this point, a lot of content will open up for you, including weekly quests and events that are crucial for your overall progress. However, before diving into all of that, we strongly recommend taking care of one specific task first.

Open your world map and look for a yellow quest called Peak Precision. You’ll find it towards the left-hand side of Siren Isle. This quest isn’t directly related to the ring’s progression or the main storyline of the island, but it unlocks a fantastic new way to move around.

Considering we don’t have flying unlocked on the island yet, this will make your life much easier.

Introducing the Rocket Pack

The Peak Precision quest introduces you to a rocket pack. The quest itself is straightforward—you’ll use the pack to do some quick surveying. The rocket pack launches you high into the air, and then you can use it again to come crashing down wherever you want.

This nifty tool is perfect for scaling cliffs or just getting around the island more efficiently. Once you complete the quest and hand it in, you’ll unlock the ability to purchase rocket packs whenever you need them.

Each pack costs 10 Flameblessed Iron and lasts for an hour. You can stock up as many as you like and always have an easy way to zip around Siren Isle, even without a flying mount.

Pairing the Rocket Pack with Goblin Gliders

If you want to take things to the next level, consider grabbing some Goblin Gliders. These can be crafted or purchased from the auction house. Using the rocket pack to gain height and then transitioning into a Goblin Glider makes navigating the island a breeze.

With this combo, you’ll save loads of time and avoid the frustration of running around the terrain.

So, before you start tackling the weekly quests and events, we highly recommend unlocking the rocket packs first. It’s a small investment of time that will pay off massively throughout the patch.

How to Get More Gems

Expanding Your Ring's Potential

Now that you’ve secured your first gem and slotted it into your Cryce's Circlet ring, you might be wondering how to fill those other two sockets. There are two main ways to collect additional gems, and both are tied to weekly activities.

Weekly Quest: Fill the Bar

The first method is through a weekly quest on Siren Isle. This quest asks you to complete various activities around the island to fill up a progress bar. You can earn points by killing monsters and rares, opening treasure chests, completing events, or handing in weekly quests.

In addition to a gem, these weekly quests also reward you with Flameblessed Iron, Crests, Valor Stones, and Bronze Celebration Tokens. If you’re interested in any of the patch’s other rewards, these quests are definitely worth your time.

Excavation Events

The second method involves participating in excavation events. In the middle of the quest hub, you’ll find a map you can interact with. Clicking on it reveals three excavation events you can contribute to. Two of these events reward gems.

To participate, contribute Flameblessed Iron to fill the event’s progress bar. When the event starts, it will appear on your world map. Head over to the location, wait for the cave to open, and take down whatever threats are inside.

Completing the event rewards you with your gem and additional loot.

Collecting Gems Over Time

By completing the weekly “fill the bar” quest and the two excavation events that grant gems, you’ll be able to collect three additional gems each week. This brings you to a total of four gems in the first week: one from the initial quest and three from weekly activities.

While this doesn’t provide much room for experimentation or variation right away, more gems will become available each week until all 12 are unlocked.

The good news is that everyone will receive the same gems at the same time, meaning there’s no RNG involved in the process. This uniformity makes it easier for players to discuss which gems are most effective and why.

Gems on Alts Are Easier

For all of you altaholics out there, the process of equipping your alts with gems has been streamlined. Once you’ve unlocked a gem on your main character, you can purchase it as a Bind-on-Account item from a vendor for 50 Flameblessed Iron.

This makes gearing your alts much easier since you can simply send the gems over to them.

However, there’s a small annoyance here: the gems are currently scattered across four different vendors. If you’re unable to find a specific gem, be sure to check all NPCs with vendor options in the hub.

Once you’ve tracked down the gems you need, you won’t have to repeat most of the Siren Isle content on your alts.

Your alt setup process is simple:

• Skip the introduction questline.
• Obtain the ring and the first gem.
• Send over any additional gems you’ve unlocked on your main character.

Upgrade Your Ring to Item Level 658

The next big step is upgrading your Cryce's Circlet. While the ring starts at item level 639, it can be upgraded to a whopping 658, making it the most powerful ring available before Season 2 begins.

According to the developers, this ring is designed to compete with Season 2 heroic raid gear, which is absolutely game-changing.

To upgrade your ring, you’ll want to look for another pink-important quest called Uncovered Mysteries. Completing this quest will unlock the ability to find hidden treasures around the zone and reward you with a Raw Singing Citrine.

This item increases your ring’s item level by 3-4, and you can continue upgrading weekly until you hit the 658 cap.

Weekly Quest Rewards and Zone Bonuses

Each week, you’ll receive one of these pink-important quests. These quests don’t just reward you with upgrade items; they also grant powerful zone-wide bonuses, such as:

• Increased movement speed through water.
• The ability to locate hidden enemies.
• Activating all of your ring powers at once.

Eventually, the final weekly reward unlocks flying on Siren Isle, making navigation a breeze.

To max out your ring’s power, you’ll need to complete these quests for about six weeks. Every completed quest edges your ring closer to its full potential, and by the end of this process, you’ll have a fully upgraded Cryce's Circlet that’s ready to tackle even the toughest challenges.

The Storm Mode and How It Works

After completing the weekly "Fill Up the Bar" quest, you’ll unlock the ability to enter the Storm Mode of Siren Isle.

To access this mode, visit Suzie Boltwrench. Storm Mode is essentially an alternate instance of Siren Isle, which you can toggle on or off at will. There’s no need to wait for specific times or events—you can hop back and forth as much as you like.

In Storm Mode, you’ll find another "Fill Up the Bar" quest. Completing it is straightforward; all you need to do is kill mobs within the storm. Be prepared, though—enemies in this mode are tougher.

Thankfully, Suzie offers some useful tools like Crawler Mines and a Grenade Launcher to help you deal massive damage. More gear options are expected to unlock soon, so check back next week to see what’s available.

The rewards for completing the Storm Mode quest include a piece of Champion track gear in a box, which can be useful if you’re still upgrading your gear.

There are also additional weekly quests available in the storm, allowing you to farm extra Flameblessed Iron or work towards unlocking other rewards.

It’s worth noting that some rewards, such as the Storm Crow mount, are exclusive to Storm Mode and require farming rares and mobs in the storm. Keep this in mind as you plan your activities.

Transmog and Collectibles

Once you’ve handled the essentials, you can decide how to spend your time on Siren Isle. Weekly quests provide Flameblessed Iron, which you can use to purchase various cosmetics. Vendors in the quest hub offer mounts, pets, and transmog items.

Some of these collectibles are expensive, so consistent weekly quest completion is key if you want to unlock everything.

You can also purchase item-level 584 catch-up gear for any characters or alts that might have fallen behind. This gear is Bind-on-Account, so you can trade it between characters via your Warband Bank.

Additionally, rares and treasures on the isle can drop similar gear, so farming them is a great way to save your Flameblessed Iron for other rewards.

Patch 11.1 Prologue Quests

When you’ve finished up your Siren Isle activities, there are new story quests to explore. Speak to Ayia in the Foundation Hall to start the "Lingering Shadows" quest.

This storyline introduces familiar faces and delves into what lies beneath Ashkahat, setting up the next phase of the narrative. If the quest isn’t available, you may need to complete the War Within campaign on at least one character first.

Kirin Tor Story Quests

Another batch of story quests is on the horizon, focusing on the Kirin Tor and their plans following the fall of Dalaran. These quests aren’t available yet, but Khadgar in the Foundation Hall has a timer above his head, indicating they will unlock on January 7th.

This gives us something exciting to look forward to in the New Year.

Anniversary Celebration Event

The anniversary event is still active until early January. If there are any achievements or rewards you haven’t claimed yet, you’ve got time to finish them.

Activities on Siren Isle, rare kills, and event completions also grant Bronze Celebration Tokens, which can be used for last-minute rewards.

Gearing Changes in Patch 11.1

This patch introduced significant changes to gear progression and crest acquisition:

• Higher Mythic+ keys now reward more crests.
• Trade-up bags for crests are much cheaper.
• Elemental Gilded Crests for upgrading crafted gear now cost less.
• Many Mythic+ dungeons have been nerfed, making it an ideal time to farm gear or tackle any remaining seasonal objectives.

If you’re looking to improve your gear or work towards specific goals, now’s the perfect time to dive in.

More Events Coming Soon

In addition to the current content, two special events are set to arrive in the New Year. The Turbulent Timeways event and Plunderstorm will both become available in January, offering even more activities and rewards to dive into.

These events should bring fresh challenges and opportunities to gear up, collect rewards, or simply enjoy new content as we move further into the patch. Keep an eye out for announcements and details as their release dates approach!

For now, the next major content patch is WoW The War Within 11.1, which is set to arrive sometime next year. While that’s something to look forward to, you still have a lot of things to do in the Siren Isles first.
