Top 10 Fastest Cars in GTA 5

Do you have a need for speed? In GTA 5, you do need certain cars that can help you get away from cops and threats. But more importantly, you’d want to drive only the fastest cars to beat your competitors in the Los Santos driving tournament (aka LS Car Meet).

If you are looking for only the best cars in Grand Theft Auto 5, then you have come to the right place! In today’s article, we are going to highlight the fastest cars in GTA 5, so strap yourself in! We are going for a ride!

Top 10 Fastest Cars in GTA 5

Before we begin, it is important to establish some things in order for you to understand how we came up with our list.

The fastest cars in Grand Theft Auto 5 do not necessarily mean all about speed. You also have to take into consideration the handling, how well it performs with bumps and obstacles in the road, and the possible upgrades you can take.

You see, even if you drive the fastest car in GTA 5 or GTA 5 online, if you come across a bump in the road, you might end up with severe dips in speed, which is something that you do not like.

In addition, there are some cars on the list that shine with HSW upgrades. For those who do not know, HSW stands for Hao’s Special Works – a business you can find within the LS Car Meet that allows you to put upgrades on your vehicle.

It is worth noting that HSW upgrades are only available for next-gen consoles, such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It’s quite interesting that Rockstar Games does not deem the PC as a next-gen gaming platform, but you just have to live with that.

With that said, what is the fastest car in GTA 5? We will divulge our top picks in the next section. Take note that we are going to highlight them in descending order, starting from the top 10 all the way to number one.

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

10. Overflod Entity MT

Price: $2,355,000 (+$850,000 for HSW Upgrades)

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 131.25 mph (base), 151.25 (upgraded)

The first car on the list is one of the most expensive cars in GTA 5 and for good reason. Aside from its stylish looks, it can reach its top speed of 151.25 mph in a matter of seconds!

Steering this vehicle is relatively okay and so is its handling. However, do keep in mind that the main weakness of the Entity MT is that it is not so good at dealing with bumps and other obstacles.

If you encounter literal bumps on the road, that top speed falls off dramatically. So, unless you are driving on a relatively smooth and flat surface, you are better off driving cars other than the Overflod Entity MT.

9. Grotti Turismo Classic

Price: $700,000 (+$897,000 for HSW Upgrades)

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 120.75 mph (base), 151.5 mph (upgraded)

The Turismo Classic by Grotti is currently one of the fastest cars in GTA 5 and GTA Online. Although its base speed leaves much to be desired, this car does have an impressive top speed of 151.5 mph if you deck it out with the upgrades found in Hao’s Special Works.

Unlike the Entity MT, the Turismo Classic offers an amazing track performance, meaning, you can safely drive this thing even in not-so-ideal conditions.

This vehicle is powered by a V12 engine that provides stable cornering, fast acceleration, and good downforce, enabling you to reach the car’s maximum speed in a jiffy.

So, what is the disadvantage of using the Turismo Classic? Well, it has a poor brake system that might give you some trouble during a race.

However, with its impressive performance and handling, you cannot go wrong with the Grotti Turismo Classic.

8. Deveste Eight

Price: $1,795,000 (+$1,110,000 for HSW Upgrades)

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 131.75 mph (base), 151.7 mph (upgraded)

This next car takes inspiration from the real-life concept hypercar based in Dubai, the Devel Sixteen.

The Deveste Eight boasts an excellent top speed of 131.75 mph, which can be increased to 151.7 mph if you purchase all of its HSW upgrades.

What makes this a great vehicle is that it has impressive durability, allowing it to withstand gunfire without a problem.

Although its acceleration could be better, the Deveste Eight is unstoppable once you give it several seconds to fully rev up.

The only problem with this car is that it does not have good traction, so you may have some trouble handling it in less-than-optimal racing conditions.

Still, the Deveste Eight is an incredible vehicle in GTA 5, with some stylish looks to boot!

7. Bravado Banshee

Price: $105,000 (+$1,840,000 for HSW Upgrades)

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport, Stolen from the streets

Top Speed: 118.50 mph (base), 152.75 mph (upgraded)

When you look at the specs of the car on paper, you will find that the base version of the Bravado Banshee is not that fast at all. However, when you purchase all of the HSW upgrades, its speed actually maxes out at an impressive 152.75 mph!

Just like its top speed, the price of the Bravado Banshee is cheap. But, the upgrades do require a huge investment. Despite that, every penny you spend on this vehicle is well worth it because you can easily outmatch most vehicles in the LS Car Meet.

The Bravado Banshee is actually not new in the Grand Theft Auto universe. In fact, this classic sports car was first introduced in Grand Theft Auto III, but has since received massive changes, including the maximum speed this thing is capable of.

6. Benefactor Stirling GT

Price: $975,000 (+$900,000 for HSW Upgrades)

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 113.00 mph (base), 156.25 mph (upgraded)

The Stirling GT is one of the fastest cars in GTA 5 online, especially when it is fully upgraded. Similar to the Bravado Banshee, this thing does not have a fast maximum speed on its base version. But, purchase the full upgrades for $900,000 and you will see this car fly!

So, what is this vehicle’s best feature? Well, the handling and overall responsiveness of this thing is quite impressive. Even if you are going at top speed, you are unlikely to suffer from oversteer thanks, in large part, to its massive amounts of grip.

Its design might not impress you, though how amazing this is on the road certainly will.

5. Lampadati Corsita

Price: $1,795,000

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 131.25 mph

As mentioned earlier, the Hao Special Works (HSW) Upgrades are only available to those who play GTA 5 online on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S. So, for those who are on PC and would want a fast car that they can rely on, then you might be interested in the next entry on this list – the Lampadati Corsita.

The Corsita can reach a top speed of 131.25 mph. That does not seem much, especially when you compare it to the other cars that have already been highlighted above. However, we are talking about a car that doesn’t rely on expensive HSW Upgrades, so that is still fantastic from a value standpoint.

Its design is heavily inspired by the Maserati MC20. It is also similar to other cars in Grand Theft Auto 5, including the XA-21, the Ignus, and the Nero, though with the Lampadati logo quite prominently displayed on the headrests, as well as the horn cap of the vehicle.

The Lampadati Corsita offers unparalleled acceleration and traction for a car that does not have any HSW upgrades available. So, if you just want something that you can drive right off the bat, then the Corsita is definitely a must-have!

4. Karin S95

Price: $1,995,000 (+$525,000 for HSW Upgrades)

Can be obtained from: Southern S.A Super Autos

Top Speed: 116.25 mph (base), 156.50 mph (upgraded)

The Karin S95 is one of the fastest sports cars in GTA 5 Online. Although its design is akin to your average sports car like the first-generation Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ, do not be fooled by its simplistic looks because this is a beast when it comes to quickness.

Its 116.25 mph base speed is certainly nothing special. However, when you start purchasing the upgrades, the S95 can achieve a top speed of 156.50 mph, which is blazingly fast!

If you like drifting, the Karin S95 will not disappoint. It has an impressive grip that allows you to maneuver the car without going off-track. This thing is a nice car to use in LS Car Meet matches as well.

3. Grotti Itali RSX

Price: $3,465,000

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 135.30 mph

Most of the GTA 5 Online players prefer playing on PC, so the last few cars on this list are those that perform really well without the need for HSW upgrades.

Anyway, the Grotti Itali RSX has been in the game for a few years now yet it is still considered one of the fastest sports cars in GTA 5 even to this day.

It can reach a top speed of 135.30 mph, which rivals some of the cars in the “Super Vehicle Class.” The design of this thing is a marvel to look at, especially since it is modeled after the Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

Although its handling could certainly use some work and it does require time to get used to, if we are talking about sheer speed alone, the Grotti Itali RSX is definitely in the top three!

The only thing that you have to worry about is its steep price of $3.46 million. Other than that, the Grotti Itali RSX is beautiful as it is quick.

2. Ocelot Pariah

Price: $1,420,000

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 136 mph

Considered by many as one of the fastest sports cars in GTA 5 Online, the Ocelot Pariah is the king when it comes to driving a vehicle in Freemode.

It can reach maximum speeds of 136 mph and its above-average acceleration allows you to achieve that in just a few seconds!

Despite the lack of any HSW upgrades, the Pariah can certainly be used in racing. In fact, it can even defeat those with engine enhancements, though you may need to be better at handling this thing.

Although it lacks in the customization department, the Ocelot Pariah is a vehicle that you need to add to your garage for sure.

1. Fastest Car in GTA 5 Online: BF Weevil Custom

Price: $980,000

Can be obtained from: Benny’s Original Motor Works

Top Speed: 137.5 mph

While the above-mentioned cars are indeed some of the best in the game in terms of sheer speed, there is still one more that we need to talk about. So, what is the fastest car in GTA 5? Well, the answer to that is, of course, the BF Weevil Custom.

This car does not win you over with its looks. However, you will certainly find it very useful for racing and general use. The BF Weevil Custom can achieve a top speed of 137.5 mph – blazing fast for a car that is under a million dollars.

It is important to note that in order for you to get your hands on this car, you have to purchase the ordinary Weevil first. This can be obtained from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos for a low price of $870,000.

Once you have the original, you can take it to Benny’s Original Motor Works to have it converted to the BF Weevil Custom.

New Fastest Car in GTA 5: Vapid Dominator GT

Price: $2,195,000

Can be obtained from: Southern San Andreas Super Autos

Top Speed: 123 mph

As an added bonus, we are going to include one of the newest cars introduced to GTA 5 Online: the Vapid Dominator GT.

The Dominator GT is a convertible that looks pretty good. However, it is included in the list mainly because it is the fastest car that was added in the most recent major update for the game.

It is a bit on the expensive side, so you may want to save up some money on your account before you make that purchase decision.

Fastest Tuner Car in GTA 5: Dinka Jester RR

Price: $1,970,000

Can be obtained from: Legendary Motorsport

Top Speed: 126 mph

If you are looking for the fastest tuner car in GTA 5, then look no further than the Jester RR. For the uninitiated, “tuner” cars are vehicles that can be upgraded to perform better than with the original parts they came with.

The Jester RR may look simple, but do not be fooled. It can reach a maximum speed of 126 mph in a couple of seconds! Its impressive handling gives you the power to weave through the busy streets without any issues.

Furthermore, the car’s speed allows you to escape from harm and the louvers on the rear window are sturdy enough to prevent bullets from hitting and damaging you.

Conclusion

Grand Theft Auto 5 has a wide collection of vehicles that you can drive, but there are only a handful that are worth your time and money.

The cars outlined above are definitely worth the investment. Some of them do have a steep asking price because of the HSW upgrades, so you definitely need a GTA 5 account that has billions to spare.

Anyway, which of the cars mentioned in this article do you fancy?
