Warforge Dig Site
The First Commander
The first mystery we'll tackle at the Warforge dig site is "The First Commander," which is both a mystery and an achievement. This one is relatively straightforward, involving the collection of journal pages that reveal the history of Bandos's earliest champion.
Requirements
- Level 76 Archaeology
- Associate qualification with the Archaeology Guild
Solution
For this mystery, you'll need to find and transcribe five specific journal pages. These pages can be found while excavating at any of these locations:
- Gladiatorial goblin remains (Level 76 Archaeology)
- Crucible stands debris (Level 81 Archaeology)
- Goblin dorm debris (Level 83 Archaeology)
- Yu'biusk animal pen (Level 94 Archaeology)
- Kyzaj champion's boudoir (Level 100 Archaeology)
- Bandos's sanctum debris (Level 115 Archaeology)
The 5 pages in question are:
- Hob-da-Gob
- Chained Heat
- It a Knockout
- Nosorog Horn Toss
- First Chosen
After finding each page, make sure to read and transcribe it into your archaeology journal. Once you've collected and transcribed all five pages, simply speak to Zanik to complete the mystery.
Reward
- You'll receive 12,000 Archaeology experience for completing this mystery
- Unlocks "The First Commander" achievement
Pro Tip: Since these pages can be found from any of the listed excavation spots, it's most efficient to excavate at the lowest level spot you have access to, as you'll get faster excavation rates at lower-level spots.

This mystery requires you to begin exploring a previously inaccessible area of the Warforge dig site. It's a simple mystery that serves as a gateway to unlocking more content within the dig site.
Requirements
- Level 83 Archaeology

- Start excavating the barricade - this will automatically complete the mystery.

- Optional: Talk to Zanik (You can skip this step if you have all keys in your inventory).

- Once inside, pull the lever in the centre of the room to complete this mystery.
Pro Tips:
- You can check which keys you've already placed by observing the deadbolts on the door.
