If you’re just about to explore the Roblox Blox Fruits Second Sea, you’re going to need some help. The First Sea might’ve felt like a breeze but once the world opens up, you’re going to face more difficulties from quests, players, and of course, from the monsters in the world.

Exploration challenges in the Second Sea of Roblox Blox Fruits

We’ve got the perfect guide to make your Second Sea journey much easier. But first, make sure to drop by our Roblox Store just in case you’re running out of Robux to spend. We’ve got incredible deals!

Levelling Guide

Let's begin by talking about the first NPCs you'll encounter when you enter the Second Sea: the level 700 Raiders. These NPCs are quite a challenge to grind, mainly because they are spread out across the area, and they have an extremely annoying ability where they dash toward you, making it difficult to take them down from a distance.

If you’re finding it tough to grind them, we recommend focusing on grinding the level 625 Gley Pirates until you reach level 725. At this point, you can start grinding the Mercenaries.

This guide won’t cover the entire journey from level 700 to level 1,500, as it would take too long.

Now, let’s move on to the next topic.

Fragments

Fragments are one of the most important resources in Blox Fruits, acting as the second in-game currency. They are primarily used to purchase new fighting styles, awaken fruits, and a variety of other unique items.

There are several ways to acquire fragments, but the most popular and efficient method is by completing raids. We’ll explain more about raids in the next section, but for now, let’s cover some other ways you can earn fragments.

Acquiring fragments through Sea Events and raids

One of the other methods of obtaining fragments is by participating in Sea Events. Unlike the First Sea, there’s a chance that Sea Events will randomly spawn while you’re sailing through the Second Sea.

These events can range from random ship battles to Sea Beast encounters, each rewarding you with fragments upon defeat. There’s also another way to get fragments, which involves defeating a Raid Boss.

Now that we know how to earn fragments, let’s discuss their purpose. First off, 1,000 fragments are roughly equivalent to 250,000 P. While you can’t actually exchange fragments for money, this should give you a sense of their value.

Almost all the fighting styles in the Second Sea require both money and fragments to purchase. Additionally, if you speak to an NPC at the cafe, they will randomly change your race for 3,000 fragments.

So, that’s everything you need to know about fragments. Now, let's move on.

Raids & Awakenings

When you enter the Second Sea, you’ll unlock the ability to awaken specific fruits. The fruits that can be awakened are: Flame, Ice, Sand, Dark, Magma, Quake, Buddha, Spider, Rumble, Phoenix, and O. These are the only fruits that can currently be awakened in the game.

To begin the awakening process, you’ll need to participate in raids. In order to do a raid, head over to the Hot and Cold Island. Once you’re there, follow the instructions on the screen. You'll need to tap a series of buttons in a specific order: red, blue, green, blue.

After you press them, a passage will open. Go through it, and you’ll interact with an NPC. From here, you can choose the raid you want to do. If you have the Ice Fruit, select the Ice Raid, or if you’re using the Flame Fruit, select the Flame Raid, and so on.

Entrance to the Raid Passage

To purchase a Raid Microchip, you’ll need to be at least level 1,100. Once you meet this level requirement, you can buy the microchip for 100,000 money. You can purchase the chip every two hours, or, if you want to bypass the cooldown, just hand over a random fruit.

If you don’t meet the level requirement, you can ask someone else to purchase the raid microchip for you.

Once you have the microchip, stand in the Dark Blue Tube if you have the chip. If someone else has the chip, you’ll need to stand in the C Tube. Since there are only four tubes on each side, a raid can only have four people per team.

Once the player with the microchip presses the green button, everyone in the tubes will be teleported to the Raid Island.

The raid consists of five islands, and each island will spawn waves of enemies. If you die at any point during the raid, you’ll be kicked out and won’t earn any rewards. After clearing the first island, another island will spawn, and so on.

The fifth island will be the one that spawns the boss, who will use an awakened version of the fruit you're raiding for.

We strongly recommend having others help you with raids, as it makes the process a lot faster. In fact, most raids can’t be soloed unless you’re using the Buddha fruit.

After completing the fifth island, if you’re using the fruit that corresponds to the raid, like using the Flame Fruit in a Flame Raid, you’ll be teleported to a special room. In this room, you’ll interact with an NPC who will offer you the option to awaken the moves of your fruit for fragments.

The first move you can awaken is the Z move, and then it will proceed in ascending order based on the Mastery requirements. You can only awaken one move per raid, and once you awaken a move, you’ll be instantly teleported to your home point.

Awakening Chamber in the Raid

It costs fragments to purchase each move awakening, and the cost increases as the moves get more powerful.

For example, to awaken the Z move of the Dark Fruit, it will cost 500 fragments. However, to awaken the V move of the Dark Fruit, it will cost 5,000 fragments. You can’t choose which move to awaken, as the moves are unlocked in order based on Mastery.

If you’re doing a Quake Raid but you’re not using the Quake Fruit, you won’t be teleported to the special room and will instead be sent back to your home point. Additionally, if you manage to complete the raid before the timer reaches the 3-minute mark, you’ll earn 1,000 fragments.

If the timer drops below 3 minutes, you won’t receive the full amount of fragments. Essentially, the closer the timer is to zero, the fewer fragments you’ll receive.

That covers everything you need to know about raids and awakenings. Next, we’ll quickly showcase the difference between an unawakened fruit and its awakened version.

There’s a huge difference between the unawakened and awakened versions of fruits. It’s not just the effects that change, but the damage as well. Now, before we move on to the next section, for those of you who want to awaken your Phoenix or Dough fruit, you’ll need a Third Sea player to get the microchip.

This is because these fruits require Advanced Microchips, which can’t be obtained in the Second Sea. That’s everything you need to know about raids and fruit awakenings!

Buddha Fruit

The Buddha Fruit is often considered one of the best grinding fruits in the game, and for good reason. While we personally might put Kitsun first due to its unique abilities, it’s also the hardest fruit to obtain.

This part isn’t strictly about the Second Sea, but it’s a tip that will significantly improve your grinding speed, so pay close attention.

Buddha Fruit Transformation

The Buddha Fruit is a legendary fruit that’s not too hard to acquire. It costs 1,200,000 money or 1,650 Robux from the Blox Fruit stock. The main reason this fruit is so great is because of its increased range when you transform into Buddha Mode.

The transformation itself is activated with the Z move, which makes this fruit even better, as you don’t need to grind any additional Mastery on Buddha to unlock its full potential. Essentially, once you use the Z move, you transform into a giant Buddha, and your range becomes drastically increased.

Additionally, the Buddha transformation provides an impressive damage reduction against NPC attacks, although it’s nerfed against player attacks. The key factor here is the insane range you get when you’re in the transformed state.

Unless you’re using this fruit for PvP, you won’t have to worry about being hit, which makes it perfect for grinding. You don’t even need any stat points or Mastery in Buddha; all you need is the Z move.

While you’re in Buddha Mode, you can use a melee weapon or sword of your choice, and you’ll quickly notice how much easier grinding becomes. We highly recommend getting the Buddha fruit if you want to level up quickly and efficiently. Now that we’ve covered Buddha, let’s move on.

Trading

Trading is a feature that becomes available once you enter the Second Sea. We’re sure most of you already know what trading is, but just in case you don’t, it’s essentially the process of exchanging one item with another player in return for something else.

To start trading, you’ll need to head over to the café located on the first island of the Second Sea.

Inside the café, you’ll find two tables on either side. Sit at one of the chairs, and if another player sits at the opposite chair, a trading menu will pop up.

However, not all items are tradable. You can only trade fruits and game passes. This means that swords, guns, and other types of gear cannot be traded.

Tradable items are generally those that can be found in the shop menu. If you click into the shop, almost everything will give you an option to either buy or gift.

If you want to trade something like money, you’ll need to press the "gift" option, then press "gift to inventory." For example, if you have 3 million money in your inventory, you can trade that or redeem it.

Now, let’s talk about how trading works. There’s a value difference when trading fruits. Offering free fruits for absolutely nothing won’t work, as the value of the trade must be within a 40% range.

For instance, even if we wanted to give a free Leopard fruit to someone, we wouldn’t be able to because they would need to add a fruit of similar value in order to make the trade valid.

However, there is a special case for permanent fruits—there’s no value restriction when trading them. You can give free permanent fruits to anyone without worrying about the trade’s value.

Trading Menu Interface

There is one more catch to trading: you can only trade five times every 8 hours. This limit is in place to prevent abuse of the system, so you’ll need to plan your trades carefully.

Swan Glasses

Now, let’s talk about the Swan Glasses, which is arguably the best accessory available in the Second Sea. While it’s not the easiest item to get, the buffs it provides more than make up for it.

The benefits of the Swan Glasses include a 25% boost to movement speed, an 8% damage increase, an 8% reduction in skill cooldowns, an 8% increase in defense, and 250 extra energy and health.

There are, however, two downsides. The first is that the Swan Glasses have a very low drop chance, and the second is that you need to be level 1,000 or higher to start the quest for them.

To begin the quest for the Swan Glasses, head to the mansion located on the hill at Kingdom of Rose Island. Inside the mansion, you’ll find an NPC who will ask you for an expensive fruit. If you’re level 1,000 or higher, you can give him a fruit that’s worth at least 1 million money.

Be careful, though—once you give him the fruit, you won’t get it back. We recommend giving him a fruit like Quake or Spider, both of which are worth over 1 million and aren’t as highly valued as others like Kitsune.

Once you give the NPC a fruit valued at 1 million or more, you’ll gain permanent access to Swan’s room. If you give him a fruit that doesn’t meet the 1 million requirement, he’ll take the fruit, but you won’t gain access to Swan’s room.

Swan’s room is located right next to the NPC. He spawns every 30 minutes, so you’ll need to rejoin servers until you find him. The drop chance for the Swan Glasses is 2.5%, so you may have to defeat the boss multiple times before you get them.

Now that you know how to obtain one of the best accessories in the Second Sea, let’s move on!

Raid Bosses & Chat Texts

In the Second Sea, there are a few special raid bosses you’ll encounter. The most common one is the Cursed Captain. When he spawns, you’ll see a red text in the chat saying, "A shiver runs down your spine."

He spawns at the Cursed Ship, and to enter the ship, you must be at least level 1,250, which is the level at which you start grinding on that island. So, if you see that red text in chat but you're not level 1,250, just ignore it because you won’t be able to enter the island where the boss spawns.

The Cursed Captain has a 2% chance to drop the Red or Blue Spiky Coat, and a 1% chance to drop the Hellfire Torch, which is used to get the Ghoul Race. The Cursed Captain also has a 33.33% chance to spawn every night, so keep an eye out for him if you're looking for these items.

Now, let’s move on to the final and most rare raid boss: Darkbeard. Darkbeard spawns on a small island near the Snow and Ice Castle Islands. When he spawns, the chat will display, "The power of darkness has been unleashed."

After defeating Darkbeard, you'll gain 3 levels, 1,500 fragments, 1 Dark Fragment, and a 2% chance to drop the Dark Coat.

If we exclude limited-time accessories, the Dark Coat is considered the hardest accessory to obtain in the game due to its 2% drop chance and the difficulty in spawning Darkbeard.

Unlike other bosses that spawn after a set amount of time, Darkbeard requires a special condition to spawn: you need to obtain a Fist of Darkness.

There are only two ways to get the Fist of Darkness, and both methods are time-consuming. The first method is by defeating Sea Beasts, which are a random sea event that occurs while you're sailing through the sea. Sea Beasts have a 5% drop chance for the Fist of Darkness.

The second method is by getting the Fist of Darkness from a chest after your server has been active for 4 hours. This method is more effective in private servers since, in public servers, you can't track how long the server has been running. In private servers, you can join, note the exact time you joined, and then wait 4 hours.

After the server is 4 hours old, the Fist of Darkness has a small chance to spawn in chests. Once you’ve obtained the Fist of Darkness, head to the small island and walk up to a specific object. Holding out the Fist will cause Darkbeard to spawn.

Darkbeard Raid Location

Next, let’s talk about a different type of chat text in the Second Sea. You’ll likely encounter a red chat text that says, "We are breaching the factory in 30 seconds." If you head to the cafe next to it, you’ll find a tall Factory Dome.

You can’t enter the factory unless you see this red chat text appear, giving you a 30-second window to reach the factory.

Once the factory opens, you’ll find a core inside with 200,000 health that needs to be destroyed within 5 minutes. The player who deals the most damage to the core will receive a free fruit and a chance to obtain the Acidum Rifle Gun.

The factory opens every 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the core is destroyed, the factory will close and will reopen after another 1 hour and 30 minutes.

That’s everything you need to know about raid bosses and chat texts in the Second Sea!

Sea Events

When you sail through the Second Sea, there’s a slight chance that a random Sea Event will occur. Sea Events spawn best when you're far from islands and have plenty of open space. The only Sea Events in the Second Sea are Ship Raids and Sea Beasts.

Ship Raids are events where three boats randomly spawn and attempt to sink your boat. One large boat with more health will appear, along with two smaller boats. The large boat drops 100 fragments and has a very low chance to drop a fruit, while the two smaller boats drop 50 fragments each.

The health of the boats increases if there are more players sailing with you, as having more players increases the chances of a Sea Event spawning.

The next Sea Event is Sea Beasts, which is one of the best Sea Events in the game due to the great rewards it offers. Upon defeating a Sea Beast, you’ll earn one level, 250 fragments, and between 60,000 to 250,000 money, depending on your level.

Additionally, you have a chance to obtain the Cho and Top Hat accessories. As mentioned earlier, Sea Beasts also have a 5% chance to drop the Fist of Darkness, which is used to spawn Darkbeard.

Sea Beasts’ health depends on how many players are sailing with you. With one player, the Sea Beast will have 100,000 health. With two players, it’ll have 125,000 health, and the health increases as more players join the event.
