Peace is by far the most inexpensive of the Patch 1.11 Runewords and can be obtained very quickly upon entering Nightmare. It is a great choice for Amazons but is often used on other physical damage builds as well.

The +2 to Critical Strike Skill gives a 25% chance to deal double damage on each attack which is a huge boost to characters who do not already have high critical strike or deadly strike chance. This is further enhanced by +All Skills on items. Critical Strike is subject to diminishing returns but the first few levels yield huge returns:

Level 2: 25% / Level 3: 32% / Level 4: 38% / Level 5: 42% / Level 6: 46% / Level 7: 49%. 

Peace also has a chance to summon a Valkyrie on striking but this ability is very unreliable. The summoned Valkyrie will most likely vanish due to a bug (the summon rehash function is called when you perform actions such as drinking a potion or opening a door).
