OSRS Leagues teasers are a gift that keeps on giving. Last weekend, on the Leagues 5 Raging Echoes blog, they announced yet another overpowered relic tier that would significantly change how you approach the game, depending on your choice. We have three relics to cover; Fairy’s Flight, Bank Heist, and Clue Compass. So in this guide, first, we will go over what each of them does and have some images that compare each one so you can pick the one that best suits you. We will give our opinion on which one stands above the rest!
Fairy’s Flight
This relic is not a new one as it made its appearance in the previous Leagues. Let’s quickly go over what it does:
- Upon picking this relic, you will be given a fairy mushroom.
- Using the fairy mushroom, you can teleport to any fairy ring, spirit tree or tool leprechaun.
- This item doesn’t get affected by Wilderness teleport limitations, so you can teleport from wherever you like.
- Unlocking this relic will also auto-complete Tree Gnome Village, regardless of your regions.
This relic is especially good for getting to locations without a normal teleport. It is also extremely good for farm runs. You can also use this item to reach the Abyssal sire, Zulrah, and Phantom Muspah quickly. We also have to address the elephant in the room, Kandarin is not looking too hot this Leagues so since most of the teleport locations are in Kandarin, this relic automatically loses some of its power, nevertheless, it is still a solid choice! Here is a quick overview of where you can teleport using this relic.
Bank Heist
Get your ski masks and gloves ready because with this relic you will have access to all the banks in the game with a single click. Here is a quick overview of this relic:
- Upon picking this relic, you will be given a banker’s briefcase.
- This briefcase allows teleportations to any deposit box, bank or bank chest.
- This item also ignores the Wilderness teleportation limitations.
This brifcase is making its first appearance in the world of OSRS Leagues. It is an interesting item that eliminates the need to have a teleport close to a bank for re-supplying or skilling. The best utility this item provides is allowing you to teleport directly to Nex. So if you are picking Asgarnia and you are looking to farm GWD a bunch of times, especially Nex, this item can prove to be really useful. Here is a quick overview of the different teleport locations you can teleport to.
Clue Compass
We have yet another relic that is making its first appearance and it is a pretty strong one! Let’s take a look what this bad boy can do:
- Upon picking this relic, you will be given a clue compass.
- This compass can teleport you to Falo the Bard, any Stash Unit, and your current clue location.
- The clue location is set to the last clue you have read and it does not work if it is a “kill an npc” step.
- This item also ignores the Wilderness teleport restrictions.
If you have played any of the previous Leagues you will know that this item is insane. Even if you didn’t play any Leagues before, you can still imagine the sheer amount of teleports that this gives you access to which opens a lot of possibilities! Here is a quick overview of this item as well.
You can already compare and see the difference between this one and the previous two.
Raging Echoes Teleport Relics Tier List & Comparisons
Generally speaking, this is the power of these three relics with a clear winner:
Clue Compass & Fairy's Flight & Bank Heist
Clue Compass is miles ahead of the other two because of its insane utility. You will be able to teleport to pretty much everywhere in the game both above ground and underground. Furthermore, being able to teleport to your clue scroll step is huge because of points. In each League, we had a lot of tasks to complete clue scrolls, fill clue scroll stashes and fill a certain amount of collection log slots. All 3 of these tasks become extremely easy if you pick this relic plus the added benefit of unique teleports, making this relic the king of teleport relics. Here are some unique teleports you will have with this relic:
- You will be able to teleport near the blood and soul altars to craft blood and soul runes quicker.
- You will be able to teleport near the Barrows chest.
- You will be able to teleport near the Death altar.
- You will be able to teleport near Zulrah.
- You will be able to teleport near K’rill in the God Wars Dungeon.
- You will be able to teleport near the sawmill near Varrock.
- Teleport to the runite rocks in Wilderness.
- You will be able to teleport to the black and lava dragons in Wilderness.
If you find the right clue step you will also be able to teleport to the following locations:
- Direct teleport to the chaos altar in deep Wilderness.
- Teleport near the Wilderness bosses.
- Teleport near dagannoth kings.
- Teleport near phantom muspah.
- Teleport near Zilyana.
- Teleport near the nature and astral altar.
This item can get you to so many locations that we can’t cover them all.
Bank Heist on the other hand pales in comparison. There are not many use cases for this relic aside from convenient bank teleports which you can already provide with the other two. The only real use case for this item is being able to teleport directly to Nex.
Fairy’s Flight is still looking pretty strong, with its unique teleports and making your farm runs easier. Being able to teleport to a fairy ring shouldn’t be trivialized as there are a lot of fairy rings in the game that give quick access to areas otherwise annoying to get to. However, once again the compass wins this race and Fairy’s Flight takes the second place.
Lastly, if you don’t want to take the clue compass, here is an alternative pick order given your regions, because some regions really don’t have many clue steps at all!
Karamja and Misthalin
Clue Compass & Fairy’s Flight & Bank Heist. The sheer number of clue steps in this region outranks any other relics in comparison here.
Desert
Bank Heist & Clue Compass & Fairy’s Flight. Desert does not have any good clue steps but has some good bank spots so Bank Heist wins here.
Morytania
Clue Compass & Bank Heist & Fairy’s Flight. Again no surprises here, Clue Compass has a lot of locations that you can take advantage of but also the Bank Heist shouldn’t be underestimated here as it allows teleportation to some really good hotspots like the Vampyres.
Wilderness
Clue Compass & Bank Heist & Fairy’s Flight. Again quick access to the entirety of Wilderness easily wins the first spot. Fairy’s Flight is literally useless in Wilderness so Bank Heist wins.
Asgarnia
Clue Compass & Bank Heist & Fairy’s Flight. Once again quick access to many different hotspots and bosses wins over the rest but, you can still pick Bank Heist here, given the position of the Nex bank.
Fremennik
Clue Compass & Bank Heist & Fairy’s Flight. Clue Compass, once again allows teleportation to all the Fremennik Islands, thus winning this competition.
Kandarin
Clue Compass & Bank Heist & Fairy’s Flight. Fairy’s Flight and Clue Compass are pretty close on this one, so pick at your own desires. (Let’s be honest, no one is picking Kandarin this year.)
Tirannwn
Clue Compass & Fairy’s Flight & Bank Heist. We all know it traversing through the dense forests of Tirannwn can be a big pain in the butt. There are some quite unique and niche clue locations in this forest so it will make life much easier if you pick the Clue Compass for this one.
Kourend
Clue Compass & Bank Heist & Fairy’s Flight or Bank Heist & Clue Compass & Fairy’s Flight. Depending on the activities you want to proceed with pick either one.
Varlamore
Bank Heist & Clue Compass & Fairy’s Flight. Being a new region has its disadvantages and having little clue steps is one of them so Bank Heist easily takes this one home.
