Friendly Forager

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_1

We will start with the Friendly Forager relic which provides you with the Forager's Pouch.
The forager's pouch is a game-changing tool that automatically collects grimy herbs while you're gathering resources. Whether you're cutting logs, fishing, mining, or hunting, the pouch will discover herbs your character can clean (based on your Herblore level + 25), rewarding you with a bit of bonus experience each time.
Think of it like having an herb sack built right in—in fact, it shares the same storage space as one. The pouch is smart, too—it'll only snag herbs when there's room to store them, but it always tries to find ones you're qualified to receive.

But that's not all - this handy item takes your potion-making skills to the next level:

  • Your secondary ingredients have an impressive 90% chance to be saved when crafting potions (and yes, this stacks with other saving effects!)
  • Every potion you create comes out as a 4-dose vial instead of the usual 3 doses

Talk about a powerhouse combo - this relic pairs perfectly with all the tier 1 options! It's a total game-changer for anyone who loves to AFK gathering skills, since you're basically running a passive herb farm while doing other activities.

The best part? You can forget about being locked into regions with lots of farming patches. Since you're pulling in herbs every 9 ticks from regular skilling, those precious herb patches become optional rather than essential. Plus, most secondary ingredients are scattered around the world as spawns or boss drops anyway. With that massive 90% saving rate, you won't need to spend time growing those either. And if you've got access to Varlamore's Mastering Mixology, even better - you'll be swimming in saved materials. It's like having your own unlimited potion supply running in the background while you focus on the fun stuff.

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_2

There is also a brilliant way to abuse this relic. Since this relic has a limited storage space and will always give you a random herb, we can make it so that it gives us the herb that we want. To achieve this we can simply fill up the sack with the herbs that we do not want and leave out space for only the herbs that we want. For example, if you want to make prayer potions you can fill the sack with herbs except ranarr, and every time you gain a "random herb" it will be a ranarr. Combined with the fact that it saves 90% of your secondaries and creates 4-dose potions it completely solves any Herblore problems you might face.

This relic is a direct rival to the Overgrown relic. Overgrown also solves any Herblore-related issues that you might face in Leagues 5 but it also provides unlimited Farming experience. So if you are picking Overgrown do not pick Friendly Forager as the effects will not go well together and you will be missing out on other powers that you can get. This is actually quite nice because I was really sad about not being able to pick Overgrown over the Grimoire, now we all have an alternative!

Corner Cutter

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_3

Do you absolutely hate and despise Agility and want to remove it completely from your Leagues journey? Well, you are in luck, because this relic achieves that feat!
When you pick this relic, you'll get your hands on the sage's greaves - a special pair of boots that earn you Agility experience just by running around! The higher your Agility level, the more experience you'll rack up during your adventures.
Racing through Agility courses? Even better - you'll get double the credit for completions and a juicy 25% experience bonus. Those marks of grace are getting an upgrade too - each one comes with a neat 10,000 coin bonus.
But wait, there's more! All those course-specific rewards are doubled: pyramid tops, hallowed marks, Brimhaven tickets, and even the crystal shards from Prifddinas Agility Course.

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_4

Lets talk about the benefits of this relic, aside from the obvious AFK Agility experience.

  • This relic gives a whole different name to AFKing a skill, as you can literally train your Agility while you are sleeping. You will need other players to achieve this but, to do it simply follow each other around the fountain in Lumbridge. This will create an infinite running loop and will give you Agility experience until you are automatically logged out after 6 hours.
  • Since completing an Agility course counts as two completions, this will be a massive time save when doing those pesky Agility course tasks, which will be undoubtedly a huge time save. This works really well with regions that have an Agility course and a task related to it and will especially be useful if you pick Kandarin since last year there was a task to complete that course 2000 times…
  • Getting 10K from a mark of grace might seem useless but it is actually usefull in the early game. We are currently speculating that this relic will be available at tier 2 which you will be able to get after 30-40 mins. Getting that early source of money can fund your early game weapon and resource costs since there is no real easy way of getting money early game.

Let's also talk about the Agility course rewards.

  • From the Brimhaven Agility course you can get a huge amounts of Agility experience by exchanging tickets. This will defeat the purpose of this relic a little bit so you can choose to spend your tickets to buy toadflaxes or snapdragons instead.
  • From the Hallowed Sepulchre, you can buy hallowed sacks which have a variety of rewards. The best rewards you can get from these sacks are:
    • Prayer potions
    • Chaos, cosmic, nature, law, death, blood and soul runes
    • Sanfew serums
    • Ranarr weed
    • Ranarr seeds
    • Runite bolts
    • Alchable items up to rune items
    • Coins up to 25K
  • From the Prifdinnas agility course, you can get crystal shards. Which can be used to gain smithing and crafting experience.
  • You can also get double pyramid tops from the agility pyramid in the Desert but this is pretty useless overall.
  • You won't get double loot from the Wilderness Agility course but due to the mechanics of that course, you will be able to get better loot faster. You can check out our blog on this course here.

This relic pales in comparison to the other two in its tier but if you are picking overgrown and Varlamore you might want to opt into this relic over the other two. Or maybe you just hate Agility, that is a fair point.

Dodgy Deals

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_5

This relic turns you into the ultimate master thief, completely transforming how pickpocketing works. Instead of targeting just one NPC, you'll swipe from every identical NPC in an 11x11 area - imagine hitting a whole crowd of guards or knights at once!

Say goodbye to failed attempts too - you'll nail every pickpocket attempt perfectly. Once you start robbing an NPC or stall, you'll keep at it automatically until you're forced to stop. No more repetitive clicking!

The quality-of-life upgrades are fantastic as well:

  • Everything you steal comes noted
  • Your coin pouch can hold 3 times more than usual
  • Market stalls never run dry

It's basically a thief's dream come true - more loot, less hassle, and unlimited targets!

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_6
  • First and foremost this relic solves Thieving completely for you.
  • It provides a stable source of money in the early game. In Varrock, you can expect to pickpocket at least 5 guards at the same time which is super useful for early game.
  • Picking Asgarnia synergises really well with this relic because of the Rouge's outfit. All your pickpockets will be doubled so if you are pickpocketing 5 guards at the same time, it will give the loot of 10 guards. Now imagine this for blood shards.
  • There are a lot of pickpockatable, useful NPCs all over Runescape, that you can take full advantage of here is a list of the best ones:
    • HAM members in Misthalin are the first ones that everyone has access to. There are a ton of members in a small area and you will be getting a ridiculous amount of easy clues from them.
    • Tzhaars in Mor-Ul-Rek is one of the best ones. You will need to have completed the Fight caves at least once for this but you can AFK 25 minutes at a time at this NPC. This will solve all your Crafting issues as you will have access to all sorts of uncut gems. To do this effectively, however, you must pick either Asgarnia or Fremennik to have access to the Ice gloves, otherwise, you will take 3 damage each time you go for a pickpocket.
    • Kandarin gets a huge buff from this as many of the pickpocketable NPCs of Runescape reside there with their juicy loot. You can pickpocket gnomes for fire orbs and medium clues, paladins for chaos runes and hard clues, heroes for death and blood runes, fire orbs, gold ore, and elite clue scrolls.
    • Tirannwn gets a huge buff as well as you can get death and nature runes, fire orbs, gold ore, diamonds, and most importantly crystal shards and enhanced crystal teleport seeds which can be turned into crystal shards. This will pretty much give you a ton of smithing and crafting experience.
    • In Varlamore you can also pickpocket wealthy citizens for easy clues but this is not ideal since they already provide an AFK pickpocketing mechanic.
    • Vyres in Morytania is an interesting one. You can pickpocket multiple vyres and get multiple shards which will provide infinite blood amulet of furies but if you are picking Fremennik, you will probably never use these amulets.
  • Having infinite stalls is a new one. There are quite a few really useful stalls to thieve from in the game. The loot from the stalls will not be noted but this problem can be easily solved by picking the Banker's Note or the Total Recall (Banker's note being marginally better). One problem with this is if any other player without this relic thieves from the same stall, that stall will be reset and stalls do not respawns faster in Leagues. Here are the stalls that you can take advantage of:
    • Regular gem stalls can be found in Kandarin, Fremennik, Kourend, Tirannwn and Varlamore. You can get up to uncut diamonds from these stalls.

      osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_7
    • There is a special gem stall in Mor-Ul-Rek which has a 1/75,000 chance to reward you with a cut onyx and a 1/150,000 chance to reward you with an uncut onyx. This shop also has a chance to give you other cut or uncut gems up to dragonstone. You will need to complete the Fight Caves at least once to access this part of the city.

      osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_8
    • There is also an ore stall in Mor-Ul-Rek. Thieving from this stall you can get, Iron, silver, gold, mithril, adamantite and runite ore alongside coal. Which will help greatly with smithing and money.

      osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_9
  • You can also thieve from chests without failing, the most useful chest can be found in the Isle of Souls with an incredible drop table that contains: herbs, uncut gems and a dark key that gives access to another chest that gives even better herbs, dragon items, tanned dragon leather up to black and noted dragon bones.

If you pick this relic consider your regions carefully to maximise its potential. You also might want to consider not going power miner since this relic covers the smithing and the crafting aspects of that relic.

Which is the Best?

This totally depends on the regions and relics that you are picking. At first glance, Friendly Forager outclasses the other two and the corner cutter is the weakest one overall.

Consider going, Friendly Forager:

  • If your regions don't have access to many herb patches.
  • If you aren't going to pick the Overgrown relic.

Consider Dodgy Deals:

  • If you are picking regions that benefit a lot from it. (Kandarin, Morytania, Tirannwn, Morytania)
  • If you want a way to solve smithing and crafting.

Consider going corner cutter:

  • If you already have other relics or regions that solves herblore, crafting, thieving, smithing.
  • If you hate Agility.

Leagues 5 Quality of Life Improvements

This week we have also got some information about quality of life improvements. Here is a small dive into these improvements.

Combined Drops

In Leagues 5 Raging Echoes, your drops from monsters that require additional items from other regions will be dropped as a full item. For example, you will receive the eternal boots from Cerberus instead of the eternal crystal.
All raids will also provide all mega-rares so you don't need to pick a region for its mega-rares. You can get every mega rare from every raid.
If you are wondering about the Scythe of Vitur charges, don't worry as in Leagues you only need blood runes to charge it.

Max Cape In Lumbridge

In Leagues 5 Raging echoes you will be able to buy the max cape from the Sage that can be found in the Lumbridge castle. This allows players to utilise skill cape perks without having to worry about their regions. Some good skillcape perks are:

  • Hitpoints cape from the desert that doubles your health regen
  • Thieving cape from Kandarin that increases your pickpocketing chance by 10%.
  • Magic cape that allows you to swap sepllbooks.
  • Ranged cape that saves your ammunition.

Faster Respawns

Everything in the world respawns at hyperspeed! Resources pop back up three times faster than usual, meaning less downtime between gathering sessions. Slower respawning nodes like the runite rocks spawn even faster than 3x.
Whether you're chopping trees, mining ore, grabbing items off the ground, or waiting for NPCs to respawn, you'll spend way more time gathering and way less time waiting around. It's like the world's on fast-forward!

Melee Zulrah

Zulrah will not be immune to melee and will have no damage cap, so if you have noxious halberd or the Nature's Reprisal you can rejoice and destroy Zulrah with ease. The removing of the damage cap also makes magic much more stronger against it, since you can hit over 150's in this year's League.

Mega-Rare Vouchers

We can all give a deep sigh of relief because we will not get duplicate mega rares from raids which already take a long time to complete. When we roll for a mega-rare we will instead get a mega-rare voucher which we can give it to sage in Lumbridge to pick the rare we want.

New Instances

Good news for boss hunters - Cerberus, Sarachnis, and the Thermonuclear Smoke Devil (Smoke Devil probably don't need this but oh well) now have their own instanced areas! No more hopping worlds looking for an empty spot.
Oh, and that annoying cooldown timer when re-entering the Dagannoth Kings instance? Gone. Now you can pop in and out as much as you need without waiting around.
If you are a Total recall enjoyer, you might want to still find an empty world to abuse your relic.

Demons for All

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_10

Every player will have access to the tormented demons without the While Guthix Sleep requirement. You will only need to have a sapphire lantern for this. Here are two ways you can get this item:

  • Crafting it: To craft this item first you will need to craft a bullseye lantern which requires level 49 smithing and a steel bar. After that you need to get a sapphire which requires level 20 Crafting if you are going to cut it. Then you will need level 49 Firemaking to light it but before you are able to light it you first need to add in lamp oil which can be crafted by using a swamp tar on the Lamp Still at Miltog's market stall in Dorgesh-Kaan.
  • You can get a bullseye lantern from the wall beast in the lumbridge swamp
  • You can also buy it from the shop in Dorgesh-Kaan.
  • You can also get one from the chest that can be found in Dorgesh-Kaan but this requires level 78 Thieving.

Better Duke

osrs_leagues_5_raging_echoes_utility_relic_tier_guide_11

Duke will no longer destroy your potions once you wake him up, meaning you can first stock up in potions and then kill him a bunch of times back to back which is a huge quality of life improvement and time save.

This is it for this guide hope you enjoyed it. If you are looking for more guides on the upcoming Leagues, you can check out or RS Blog!
