OSRS Leagues 5 Raging Echoes features Echo Hespori, a Farming boss residing in Kourend. Accessing this boss requires level 65 Farming. Let’s take a look at how you can kill this boss effectively.
Echo Hespori
The echo orb you need to fight this boss drops from Hespori. To obtain this weapon early, you must rush to level 65 Farming and plant a Hespori seed. Even in Leagues, it takes around a day to grow. You can level up to 65 Farming quickly if you have selected the Equilibrium relic, which significantly boosts your experience from any low-level patch you harvest. Here are the requirements for this boss:
- Level 65 Farming
- Level 40+ Prayer
- Decent combat stats
- Either level 62 Magic with Ancient spells or level 45 Ranged with grey chinchompas
- Antipoison potion, prayer potion, and decent food
- Weapon for all 3 styles or tier 6 mastery
This boss is pretty easy to kill, so don’t worry if your gear is not top-tier.
Echo Hespori Strategy
There are not that many mechanics to Echo Hespori:
Hesporis basic attacks are Ranged attacks so you should always have protect from Ranged activated. From time to time Hespori will bend around itself and shoot out a magic attack. Simply switch your prayer to protect from Magic to avoid this attack. After the attack make sure you switch back to protect from Ranged prayer.
Some plants will occasionally spawn all around the arena. Every plant has a different protection prayer enabled. Kill all the plants when they bloom with their respective combat style requirements. There will always be a group of plants that are clumped up that have protect from Melee up. Use an AOE attack such as the chins or burst magic to kill all of them in one hit. The plants that require melee attacks will reset your weapon attack cycle so you can 1 tick kill every plant just like TOA skulls. Alternatively, if you have tier 6 Masteries unlocked already you can use only one style and deal with all the plants.
From time to time Hespori will shoot out a slow projectile in your general direction. When that projectile lands on the ground it deals AOE damage to that side of the Arena. To dodge this simply switch to a different side of the arena before the projectile lands.
Full Kill
- Before entering the boss arena, drink your anti poison and any other stat boosting potion you have.
- Enter the arena and put on protect from Ranged and start hitting the boss.
- It is recommended that you stand on one of the corners of Hespori to quickly switch corners when the AOE attack comes in.
- Make sure to switch to protect from Magic when you see the Hespori bending and back to Ranged when the attack is over.
- Kill the plants as explained above when they appear.
