It has been a wild 2 weeks of OSRS Leagues 5 Raging Echoes teasers. As we now know all the relic tiers and relics, we can give an accurate evaluation of which relics are superior to others in which scenarios. Let’s take a look at each tier!

Raging Echoes Relics Guide

Tier 1

Tier_1_Relics_Overview

In tier 1 we have our skilling relics being the Power Miner, Lumberjack, and Animal Wrangler.

Animal Wrangler: Buffs your Hunter, Fishing, and Cooking. Banks all your fished food and gives a 100% cooking rate. This relic basically solves these 3 skills by itself. It is super useful if you are picking Kandarin, Tirannwn, or Wilderness and it is useful if you are picking Varlamore and Kourend.

Power Miner: Solves Smithing and Mining for you. Banks and smelts all your mined ores and allows you to mine for longer periods before depleting the rock. This relic is awesome since mining even with a boosted experience rate is pretty slow and annoying. It allows you to have good amounts of gold throughout your playthrough. This relic does not go well with Desert or Fremennik due to Blast Furnace, Giant's Foundry, and Granite mining. It does go well with Asgarnia.

Lumberjack: This relic solves Firemaking, Woodcutting, and kind of Fletching. It is the worst out of the three since Woodcutting is already pretty AFK and easy to do. This relic, however, works really well with Kourend as you can chop all kinds of different trees and it is especially good at Wintertodt.

The rankings for this tier are: Animal Wrangler > Power Miner > Lumberjack

Tier 2

Tier_2_Relics_Overview

In tier 2 we have our skill helper relics being the Corner Cutter, Friendly Forager, and Dodgy Deals.

Corner Cutter: This relic solves Agility and every task related to Agility. With it, you gain double the Agility laps and resources. This relic is good if you absolutely hate Agility otherwise not so much.

Friendly Forager: This relic solves your Herblore herb problems. With it, you will never run out of herbs and potions. This relic is especially good if you are picking a region combination like Wilderness, Desert, and Tirannwn since all 3 of these regions don’t have access to good herb patches.

Dodgy Deals: This relic solves your Thieving and Agility. Also semi-solves your Smithing, Crafting, and clue-hunting grind. This relic will solve your early-game money problems as well. Especially good in regions: Kandarin, Tirannwn, and Morytania. What makes this relic so perfect is the Agility part. With this relic, you can thieve the underwater chests found on Fossil Island to gain upwards of 6M Agility experience per hour (if you have flippers, 2M without flippers).

The rankings for this tier are: Dodgy Deals > Friendly Forager > Corner Cutter

Tier 3

Tier_3_Relics

In tier 3 we have our teleportation relics: Fairy’s Flight, Bank Heist, and Clue Compass.

Fairy’s Flight: Allows teleportation to any herb patch, spirit tree, and fairy ring. This allows for a ton of unique teleport. The main region that can take advantage of this relic really well is Kandarin. Also, do not pick this relic if you are picking Overgrown.

Bank Heist: This relic can teleport you to any bank or deposit box you have within your regions. This relic is pretty neutral not offering many interesting teleports. The only unique teleport it has is in Asgarnia being the Nex bank.

Clue Compass: This relic allows teleportations to any clue stash unit, any clue step (except killing NPC steps), and to Falo the bard. This is an amazing teleport since it makes solving clues a lot easier and provides a lot of useful teleports. This relic goes well with any region.

The rankings for this tier are: Clue Compass > Fairy’s Flight > Bank Heist

Tier 4

Tier_4_Relics_Overview

In tier 4 we have more utility relics: Golden God, Reloaded, and Equilibrium.

Golden God: This relic solves your Magic and Prayer training and your money problems. This will basically give you infinite money. With this, you can also sacrifice 20K on an altar to gain Prayer experience and if you have money you can AFK Prayer for 25 minutes. This relic is great in regions where you can’t have easy access to gold. The best region for this relic is Varlamore and Fremennik due to the stone mason shop.

Reloaded: This relic allows you to pick a relic below its tier. As a rule of thumb don’t pick an additional teleport relic as it will be wasted. The best relics to pick from are: Power Miner, Animal Wrangler, Friendly Forager, and Dodgy Deals. The choice depends solely on your regions and pathway issues. I will personally get both Dodgy Deals and Friendly Forager.

Equilibrium: This relic will provide an additional experience equal to 10% of your total level (20% for your lowest level skill) for every action you take that yields experience in that skill. This relic is great if you are looking to max out and complete all the tasks in the game. It was a popular choice among competitive players last year. Any action you take is the important bit as you can make something like essence mining have the best experience rate in the game.

It is really difficult to give a rating to these relics as they are all extremely situational. So Golden God = Reloaded = Equilibrium.

Tier 5

Tier_5_Relics_Overview

In tier 5 we have: Treasure Arbiter, Production Master, and Slayer Master.

Treasure Arbiter: This relic will allow you to always have minimum steps in your clues while always having the maximum amount of reward rolls. This will also make it so that emote, Falo & Charlie clue steps no longer have item requirements, meaning you can do every clue you receive. Clue Compass works both great and not so great with this relic as it will be doubling down on solving clues. The power of this relic solely depends on how desperate you are for money and how many clue-related tasks there are in this year's Leagues. Works great with Kourend and Kandarin.

Production Master: This relic will allow you to process and craft all items in your inventory at once, giving you the full experience. This relic is great for speeding up your training methods. Obviously, to fully utilize this relic's powers, you first need an adequate amount of supplies, so regions such as Fremennik and Wilderness work great with this relic. As a chronic Production Master picker every year, let me warn you, this greatly reduces your AFK time.

Slayer Master: This one is an absolute giga chad relic. This relic will make your life training Slayer so much easier. It makes it so that all Slayer creatures are always on task and yield Slayer experience. Provides you with infinite blocks and skips for your tasks. Morytania is the king region for this relic as you will be able to use your Slayer helmet against almost all bosses and creatures. Other honorable mentions are the Wilderness and Kourend, as both of these regions have keys that you can get by doing Slayer, which provides a ton of resources.

The rating for this tier is Slayer Master >= Treasure Arbiter >= Production Master.

Tier 6

In tier 6 we have our special relics: Total Recall and Banker’s Note.

Total Recall: Allows you to save your character's coordinates, prayer, special attack energy, and health. After saving, you can teleport to that location as many times as you want, restoring all of the stats listed back to full. This does not work in instanced content. This relic works great with Wilderness and Asgarnia, as these areas work great with special attack weapons. Keep in mind that this relic will favor the skilled player.

Banker's Note: Allows you to note and un-note items anywhere in the game. This can be used to train skills in zero time as you are doing other content. Most importantly, this allows you to bring an infinite amount of supplies to any hard content in the game. This relic is great for new players since as long as you don’t get one-shot, you can keep eating food and kill bosses. Works great everywhere.

The ratings for this tier are Banker's Note > Total Recall.

Tier 7

Tier_7_Relics_Overview

This tier is another special tier, we have: Pocket Kingdom, Grimoire, and Overgrown.

Pocket Kingdom: You will receive the miniature version of the Kingdom of Miscellania. Your workers will work for 50% less gold. You will always have max approval and you will gain resources 48 times faster than normal. So if we do the math you would have to pay 40K per hour for this relic. This relic is great if your regions do not have good access to certain resources. This relic will solve your Firemaking, Farming (provides seeds), Herblore, and Cooking skills.

Grimoire: Will unlock all prayers and spells, regardless of your regions. Great for meleers if you are not going for Kandarin. Great for Magers and rangers if you are not going for Kourend. Also great overall if you are not going for the desert, as it unlocks the Ancient spellbook.

Overgrown: Allows you to gain passive Farming experience. This basically completely solves your Farming and Herblore problems. Works great with regions that have a lot of farming patches such as Kandarin.

The ratings for this tier are Grimoire > Pocket Kingdom > Overgrown.

Tier 8

Tier_8_Relics_Overview

In the final tier of relics, we have our combat boost relics: Last Stand, Guardian, Specialist.

Last Stand: Last stand activates when on a damage that will reduce your hitpoints to 0. It puts you on 1 health and gives you immunity for 10 seconds. During this period you will also receive +255 to all your stats and heal for the damage that you deal at the end of the duration. This ability has a 3-minute cooldown. This is great for every build in the game, especially Dharoks. If you are looking to do hard content, it can get frustrating to miss 1 tick and die from full health. This relic will prevent that from happening.

Guardian: You will be able to summon a thrall that can use all styles and is super accurate. This thrall is weaker than the previous years thrall but this time you don’t have to keep spamming the summon to get increased DPS and you can use this inside the Gauntlet. This pretty much gives you a marginal DPS increase.

Specialist: This relic will make it so that all your special attacks cost 20% and have +100% accuracy. If you fail an accuracy roll, you will receive 10% of your energy back and if you kill an npc you will gain 15% of your energy back. This works great with two regions in particular which are Wilderness and Asgarnia. Both of them have great special attack weapons that you can spam, especially Asgarnia houses the fabled Dogsword. This relic also works really well with the Total Recall relic.

The ratings for the final tier are as follows: Last Stand > Specialist > Guardian.
