Long Walkthrough

Infiltrating Villa Lucens

Villa_Lucens_exterior_with_a_mysterious_atmosphere

Look, villa infiltration might sound tricky, but I'll help you get in smooth and easy. First up, find Patzi hanging around Villa Lucens' entrance. He's got this whole plan about putting on a play, but needs someone on the inside - that's where you come in.

After chatting with Patzi, you'll need to do a bit of "creative acquisition" of a butler's uniform. Head north of Patzi's spot, just west of the general store. There's this house with a guard doing rounds - wait until they're not looking, then slip in through the south window. The wardrobe with your soon-to-be uniform is right there on the ground floor.

Here's a pro tip: don't rush out immediately. Take a second to watch the guard's patrol pattern. Getting caught now would be pretty embarrassing, right?

Getting Inside Once you've got the uniform, head back to Patzi. Make sure you've got both pieces equipped - this isn't a half-dressed kind of operation. You'll want to follow the stone steps east, then head south to meet the Head Butler. He'll give you the whole "house rules" spiel and take your items for "safekeeping."

Playing Your Part Inside Villa Lucens, you'll get assigned one of these fancy masks:

  • Snake mask
  • Ram mask
  • Jaguar mask
  • Wolf mask
  • Bird mask

Plus, you'll be carrying a butler's tray to complete the look. Find Patzi by the east exit - he wants you to schmooze with the guests, but in a proper butler way. You know, getting names without being too obvious about it.

The Mystery Begins: This is where things get interesting. You'll need to chat with:

  • Constantinius (turns out he's actually hosting this shindig)
  • Three other guests: Cozyac, Pavo, and Xocotla

After playing meet-and-greet, Patzi sends you on what seems like a simple wine run - grab some Principum Red from the cellar. Head outside, find the cellar entrance (it's right north of the east exit), and make your way south to track down that wine.

But here's where everything goes sideways. As you're reaching for that antique wine bottle, you'll hear glass breaking somewhere in the cellar. Check out the southeast corner and... well, let's just say someone's having a really bad day.

The Investigation Unfolds

Investigation_scene_with_guards_and_evidence

Playing Detective After finding the body, Stradius and Hutza (your new guard friends) will escort you to a cozy little interrogation room. Don't worry though - they're actually pretty reasonable and let you help investigate when you offer. Time to channel your inner detective!

First, you'll want to chat with everyone again:

  • Constantinius
  • Cozyac
  • Pavo
  • Xocotla

After getting their stories straight, head back to our crime scene in the cellar. Here's what you need to examine (and trust me, every detail matters):

  • That jug by the stairs might look innocent, but check it anyway
  • Small box tucked away in the south room
  • Broken stool (also south room) - clearly someone had a rough night
  • The wine storage in the east room
  • Broken pottery scattered around the east room
  • Poor Livius himself - our unfortunate victim

Evidence Collection Now here's where it gets fun - we're going pickpocketing! Each of these suspects has something interesting in their pockets:

  • Cozyac's holding onto a threatening note
  • Pavo's got a suspicious drinking flask
  • Xocotla's carrying a shipping contract
  • Adala's got some wine labels that might be important

Take a good look at each piece of evidence:

  • Those wine labels might tell us about our crime scene
  • The threatening note could reveal motives
  • That shipping contract might show some suspicious timing
  • And that drinking flask... well, someone's been busy

The First Accusation

After piecing it all together, you'll point the finger at Adala. She'll admit to being in the cellar (trying to snag that valuable Principum Red), but swears she didn't kill anyone. Of course, she'll try to prove her innocence by... attacking you. Classic OSRS logic, right?

She's level 49 but don't worry - there's nothing fancy about this fight. No special mechanics, just straight-up combat. The fight ends when either of you is near death, and she'll make a pretty convincing case that she's too weak to have killed Livius.

The Final Act

Backstage Investigation After Adala's arrest, you're not done yet. Constantinius insists "the show must go on" (dramatic, right?), but there are still questions to answer. Head down south to the cliff until you spot some loose rocks - that's your shortcut.

The backstage area is where things get really interesting. You'll need to find three key pieces of evidence:

  1. Check the crate by the exit - surprise! It's full of poison
  2. That costume rack behind the mirror? Has Naiatli's wine-stained costume
  3. The bookshelf isn't just for show - it's hiding a secret passage to the wine cellar

The Big Reveal Time to put it all together. After finding everything and chatting with the costumer about your discoveries, you'll finally piece it together - Naiatli's our culprit. But because nothing's ever simple, the play's already started.

Theatrical_confrontation_scene

The Final Confrontation This is where it gets theatrical (literally). You'll need to confront Naiatli during the actual play, improvising your accusations into the performance. When she runs, chase her down with your prop sword. It's like dinner theater, but with more attempted murder.

Plot Twist: Turns out Naiatli just wanted to injure Livius so he couldn't perform - she was drunk and things went way worse than planned.
