Arcane Grimoire

Jagex released yet another relic that will change your plans for this League. This relic is called the Arcane Grimoire. We do not know which relic tier this will be in but it is a pretty solid relic overall.

Upon picking this relic you will receive an Arcane Grimiore which will have the following effects:

• You will be able to swap between any spellbook freely.
• You will unlock every spell in the game regardless of quest, area or diary requirements.
• This book will serve as a book of the dead.
• Lastly every prayer in your prayer book will be unlocked.

It's a pretty simple relic overall but really strong. Let's talk about how this changes the playing field for Leagues 5 Raging Echoes.

First of all this item was also in the previous Leagues but was way less powerful. In this League, it is more like a combination of the original grimoire plus the ruinous powers relic. Having all the spells unlocked regardless of any requirements is pretty huge regardless of your build. This will allow you to select regions more freely. You no longer need to choose the Desert for ancients or Kourend for thralls. What is even better is the fact that this relic unlocks all the Prayers in the game. This once again provides the players with more freedom of choice when it comes to region selection. No longer will you have to pick Kourend for the best Ranged and Magic prayers, and no longer will you have to pick Kandarin for Piety, which was a huge struggle in the previous Leagues. This also makes Kandarin even worse than it already is for this League, so we expect it to have the least amount of picks.

Arceuus

• Barrows teleport, for those of you that pick Morytania
• Dark demonbane, to farm those high level demons
• Thralls, for extra DPS
• Dark lure, to catch implings faster
• Reanimation spells, to get more Prayer experience
• Shadow veil, for better pickpocketing chance
• Death charge, to abuse special attacks
• Degrime, to quickly clean all your herbs
• Resurrect crops, to save your dead crops

Lunars

• Cure me, to get rid of venom or poison if you do not have access to anti-venom or poison potions.
• Vengeance, if you are going for a recoil build or for extra DPS
• Npc contact, for quick slayer tasks or pouch repairs
• Fertile soil, for always having the best compost
• Superglass make, to quickly gather crafting supplies
• Tan leather, for more crafting experience
• Spin flax, for fletching supplies
• Magic imbue, for creating combination runes for better exp and inventory space management.
