How To Make Guthix Rest - OSRS Trailblazer

The new Trailblazer Reloaded League has some pretty nice rewards for those willing to do some specific tasks in OSRS. If you want to get an extra 40 points, you should start to create a Guthix rest tea. While this tea is fairly easy to create, you'll still want a guide to better streamline the process. Before anything else, let's talk about what the Guthix rest is first.

What Is Guthix Rest?

Guthix rest, a tea with potion-like properties, becomes available for you to consume and craft after Sanfew imparts the recipe during the One Small Favour quest. The crafting process, requiring 18 Herblore, allows you to decant the tea into 4-dose cups, each providing 59 Herblore experience. The distribution is as follows: 14, 14.5, 15, and 15.5 experience for the first, second, third, and fourth herbs, respectively. Notably, the order in which you add the herbs is flexible.

Each dose of Guthix rest tea offers you the following benefits:

1. Reduces venom to poison or decreases poison damage by 1.
2. Restores 5% energy.
3. Heals 5 Hitpoints, with the potential to boost up to 5 above your maximum HP if you are at full health.

Despite functioning akin to a potion, Guthix rest allows you to heal during combat without impeding your attacks. However, it's worth noting that the amulet of chemistry has no impact on the tea-making process, and no charges are consumed.

While adding herbs during the crafting process creates the unfinished herb tea mix, adding the wrong herbs results in a ruined herb tea.

It's important to be aware that, although Guthix rest operates as a potion, a Ghast's attack can still transform it into rotten food, consistent with the behavior expected for any food item.

How To Make Guthix Rest Tea?

Aside from the Skill level required, you'll also need a few things to make Guthix Rest. Namely, you'll need 2 Guam leaves, a harralander, and a marrentill. You can get all items from the Sorceress's Garden Winter/Spring/Autumn/Summer. You can also get it from Sanfew.

To craft Guthix rest, start by heating a bowl of water on a range or fire. Once heated, use the water on an empty tea cup. Then, incorporate any of the herbs to create the herb tea mix. Add the remaining herbs to complete the process, resulting in a 3-dose Guthix rest.

A Tea For A Task

Once you've made Guthix Rest, you'll be able to get the achievement for this in Trailblazer Reloaded League. There are still lots of things to do but at least, this is 40 points under your name and it's once step closer towards beating all o the tasks.
