Starting Investments

Here’s a brief look at some investments from the Discord you might want to try. For instance, we’ve got Aspilicueta here, bought for 11,000 coins.

All four of these cards cost 11,000 each. Aspilicueta, an 85-rated special card, is currently at the bottom of his price range. He’s worth snagging, as he should rise significantly.

Right now, he’s a snipe at 11,000 coins. In fact, some listings have even been lower. Just the other day, I saw one for 10,750 coins—though I was a bit slow on that one!

To make the most of this investment, keep an eye on the market. Aspilicueta is already selling above 11,000, so bidding at 11,000 is a steal. Bidding this year is incredibly valuable.

Sniping Aspilicueta

At 12,000 coins, the EA tax is 600 coins, meaning you can sell this card immediately for a 400-coin profit. Alternatively, you could snipe and hold it as a longer-term investment. This card could easily hit 13,000 or 14,000, possibly even more. So, if you’re interested in holding it, it’s a solid bet.

Other Key Investments

Beyond Aspilicueta, here are two more promising investments:

1. 83-Rated Cards (Like Giroud) - Right now, 83-rated cards are at their minimum. Giroud, for example, has been going for around 850 coins on bid, while his buy-now price is 900. This kind of low-price investment has proven successful with 84s recently, and we expect 83s to follow suit.
   When they rise, these cards could easily double in value, reaching around 1,500 to 1,600 coins. For those with 100,000 coins to spare, investing a bit and holding will likely pay off as prices rise.
2. Goula (Around 1,000 Coins) - Goula is another great investment, as he’s sitting around 1,000 coins. This card was initially posted in the Discord at 800 coins, and while there’s been a small dip, he could reach 3,000 or 4,000 coins once the EVO event tied to him is live. For lower budgets, snagging some at 750-900 coins is wise—these prices are an absolute steal.

SBCs for Guaranteed Profit

Let’s talk about the current SBCs (Squad Building Challenges) that offer easy coin boosts. The "Marky Matchups" challenge, for example, only costs about 10,000 coins but guarantees profit. This week alone, I made 5,000 coins—a bit on the low side, but it’s still free money. There’s always a chance to earn more with a lucky pull.

The "Total Rush" challenge is another quick win. It only requires five players, so you can easily use cards already in your club, avoiding extra costs. It offers a Premium Gold Pack, and while sometimes you may only get 2,000 coins, every bit counts.

In this case, I received a 1,000-coin boost, a few sellable items, and a total of around 4,200 coins—essentially free profit.

Don’t Miss Out on Preview Packs

Lastly, make sure to check out the preview packs. They’re not always profitable, but once in a while, you may stumble on a great pull that’s worth some extra coins.

The Bronze Pack Method

Most of you may already know the basics of the Bronze Pack method. You buy a bronze pack and sell the players inside. While it might take a bit of time to sell them, you'll usually make more coins than what you spent on the pack.

This isn't a get-rich-quick method, but it’s a steady, long-term way to grow your coin balance. If you like a slow and steady investment strategy, the Bronze Pack Method is for you.

Chemistry Style Flipping

This method involves buying players with desirable chemistry styles already applied or applying them yourself. For example, if you’re looking for a center back with a Shadow style, you can either:

1. Snipe players with a Shadow style at a lower price, or
2. Buy a center back, apply the Shadow style yourself, and list the player at a premium price.

This may take some patience, but it’s a proven method to flip players for profit.

Squad Battles

Playing Squad Battles is another easy way to earn coins. If grinding isn’t an issue for you, achieving Elite One in Squad Battles isn’t as hard as it might seem.

Rewards at Elite One include an 85+ rare gold player, a guaranteed Team of the Week, and other packs that can bring in easy coins.

The best part? If you're not aiming for high ranks, you can watch a movie or do something else while playing, as scoring a couple of goals early on will let you coast to a win.

Method 4: Draft Mode

This is one of our favorite methods at the start of every game cycle. If you’re a solid player, winning drafts consistently can provide a steady coin income.

Instead of buying packs, enter drafts and keep winning. Winning 13 out of 23 drafts, for instance, can reward you with coins and valuable players for your squad.

General Trading

Trading is popular and can be very effective if you’re willing to put in the time. There are plenty of options:

• Join a trading Discord group
• Follow trading tips on YouTube
• Snipe players, such as currently popular ones, and sell them at a profit.

Long-term investments are also a possibility. For example, picking up 85-rated players at low prices is almost guaranteed to bring profit once SBCs come out and demand increases.

Buy Your Team Early

Buying your team early in the game cycle can be a great investment. Before the first Champions event, prices tend to be lower. As Champs approaches, players like Neymar, who might be worth 170K now, will likely increase in value.

Buying your meta players early means you’ll either have them at a discount or can sell them at a profit later.

Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) offer some of the most secure ways to invest in FC 25 Ultimate Team. Whether you’re cautious about losing coins or simply looking to maximize profit, we’ve got you covered with a strategy that’s as close to zero-risk as it gets.

The SBC to Watch: Jota

Let’s start with the SBC for Jota, which many of us have been eagerly awaiting since the first day of the Road to the Knockouts. However, he comes with a high price tag at 200k and only minor upgrades from his standard gold card.

Plus, he lacks a "PlayStyle+" addition, which limits his appeal even further.

Why Jota’s Path to Upgrade Isn’t Ideal

The upgrade process for Jota and other Road to the Knockout (RTK) cards is no walk in the park. Here’s a quick breakdown:

• First Win Requirement: Jota’s card needs Liverpool to win three matches, with the earliest opportunity on October 23rd—assuming a perfect win streak.
• Scoring Upgrade: Liverpool also needs to score in four separate matches, which pushes the potential upgrade window into November.
• League Ranking Requirement: Finally, Liverpool must finish in the top two, but that won’t be confirmed until January 29th, at the earliest.

These strict upgrade requirements make it tough for players to justify investing in this card, especially when other RTKs have stronger stats and upgrade paths.

Current Market Trends and Safe Investment Strategies

Despite the challenges with Jota, RTK cards are flying off the shelves. The market has had its share of ups and downs lately, though, so here’s a snapshot of what’s happening and what’s next:

1. Market Stability: The market’s index has been steady at 90 points, with small fluctuations but no major shifts. Despite expectations for bigger dips, we’re seeing only minor lows.
2. Trading Peaks and Dips: A strategic buy-sell approach is paying off. For example, there was a market dip post-Division Rival rewards, then a surge, followed by more minor dips. If you’ve got the timing down, you can maximize your profits by buying low and selling high.
3. Safe Investment Opportunity: On Twitter, I suggested flipping RTK cards for short-term profit. Take my recent investment in Donny van de Beek—purchased for 36k and sold for 48k, netting a cool 10k profit per card. Similar opportunities are out there if you monitor player dips and peaks.
4. Squad Battle Rewards: This year’s Squad Battle rewards are juiced up, with options like 5 rare gold players and mega packs. Expect the market to inflate slightly from these rewards, giving us additional chances to buy low.

Building Around Allan Saint-Maximin

The next big SBC, Allan Saint-Maximin, has potential. However, as a French player in the Turkish league, he lacks strong links with other league players.

This is likely to make French players the primary link choice for him, so if you’re considering investments, look at high-performing French players that can mesh well.

How to Scout for Linked Players

If you want to identify high-demand players to complement SBC releases, here's a quick method:

1. Squad Builder Tools: Insert Saint-Maximin into the built-in squad builder or any third party option.
2. Check Compatibility: Click the lightbulb to view compatible links, especially for players from France.
3. Look for Trending: The game lets you filter trending players, allowing you to see the most popular French players that could link well with Saint-Maximin.

This SBC is a great test run for similar investments you may want to make with other RTK or high-profile SBC cards.
