Best Locations for Farming Resplendent Sparks
Here are four ways you can get these Resplendent Sparks and they're all challenging. Luckily, you can now go with Diablo 4 Mercenaries in case you're struggling:
1. Killing Uber Lilith
The first method, and probably one of the hardest, is defeating Uber Lilith. you'll find her at the Echo of Hatred. With Season 4 updates, some of her mechanics have become a little more forgiving.
The damage from her mechanics isn't as punishing as before. Similar to other Uber bosses, if you get hit by certain attacks, you'll accumulate negative stacks on your character.
These stacks can't be removed during the fight, and the more stacks you have, the more damage you'll take until you eventually die. With Uber Lilith's increased health and other small tweaks, she is currently the toughest boss in Diablo 4.
Beating her will reward you with a Resplendent Spark, but It's definitely the hardest one to earn. If you can't defeat her solo, consider joining a carry group or working on your build to tackle her down the road. It's worth it, as the spark is highly valuable.
2. Defeating Uber Bosses
Your second Resplendent Spark can be obtained by defeating any Uber boss. A good target is the level 200 Tormented Duriel, whom you can find at the Gaping Chasm. Alternatively, you could go after Andariel at the Hanged Man's Hollow.
Beating either of these bosses will earn you another Resplendent Spark, and if you're having trouble, there are plenty of groups on Discord offering carry services. You can even find us there helping out, so jump in if you need a hand with a boss.
3. Iron Wolves Reputation
The third Resplendent Spark comes from completing your Iron Wolves reputation. Once you reach Tier 18 with the Iron Wolves Commander, you'll receive the spark alongside other rewards.
This method is straightforward, but remember, you'll still need a fourth spark to craft an Uber Unique.
4. Alt Character or Salvaging an Uber Unique
There are two ways to get your fourth Resplendent Spark. The first option is to complete the Iron Wolves reputation on an alt character. If you level an alt all the way to Tier 18 and collect the reward, each alt character can earn one Resplendent Spark.
This takes some time, but if you're already playing an alt, it might be worth finishing this out.
The second way is to salvage an Uber Unique. While it might sound counterintuitive to break down an Uber Unique to get a spark, it can be effective if you have duplicates or items that don't fit your build.
For example, if you happen to find two of the same item, like the Melted Heart of Selig, you can salvage one of them.
It might feel a little painful at first, but if the items are identical, tHere's no need to keep both. Head to the blacksmith, select the item, and salvage it to gain one Resplendent Spark.
By doing this, you avoid the need to level another character and can gather multiple Resplendent Sparks just by salvaging extra Uber Uniques. With four sparks in your inventory, you're ready to craft any Uber Unique you want.
Advanced Farming Strategies
If you're looking to snag a Mythic unique item in Diablo 4 within three hours, this guide is for you. We're going to dive deep into a farming strategy that maximizes your chances, focusing on Hell Tides, Whisper caches, and efficient dungeon runs.
The goal is to gather all the boss materials we need and summon Duriel as many times as possible to increase our odds of landing that sweet Mythic loot. let's get into it!
Starting Off: Kyovashad and the Challenge
We're kicking things off in Kyovashad, with exactly 125 million gold, which we won't be spending. Any additional gold we earn during this challenge is fair game. We've got a new opal that increases the chances of dropping boss materials, so we'll use that to our advantage.
Hell Tides Begin at 2:00 PM
At 2:00 PM sharp, a Hell Tide starts, and the clock begins ticking on our three-hour challenge. Our strategy focuses on speed and efficiency in farming Hell Tides, using a Spiritborn build to evade quickly and deal constant damage.
Gathering Materials in Hell Tides
The primary goal in Hell Tides is to gather as much boss material as possible, especially Living Steel from Tortured Gifts and Mystery Chests. With our opal buff, we also have a chance to randomly acquire rare boss materials, including those needed for summoning Duriel. This buff plays a significant role throughout the farming run.
Opening the First Mystery Chest and Tortured Gifts
We open our first Mystery Chest, scoring around 14 Living Steel. Each Tortured Gift offers two Living Steel, so opening every single one is crucial. Since two zones are affected by each Hell Tide, It's important to clear all the chests and gifts in both zones. That's why using a fast-moving class like Spiritborn is key.
Why the Spiritborn Build?
This build excels because of its evasion-based damage. The ability to continuously evade and damage mobs allows us to clear Hell Tides quickly and efficiently. If you're not familiar with the build, it's worth looking into!
The Opal Buff: A Game Changer
While farming, we notice that Living Steel and other materials drop frequently, thanks to the opal buff. Although it sounds odd to "drink" an opal, It's a crucial step in boosting our drop chances for boss materials. This buff becomes invaluable during our three-hour run.
Checking Progress: First 16 Minutes
At 2:16 PM, just 16 minutes into the challenge, We've already gathered over 50 Living Steel and other essential materials. We keep pushing through the Hell Tide, targeting every Tortured Gift for maximum efficiency.
Whisper Caches and Malignant Hearts
We complete a number of Whisper objectives while in the Hell Tides. This allows us to visit the Tree of Whispers for Whisper caches, which offer more gold and potential Malignant Hearts. don't forget, you can also send these caches to your alts for fast leveling if you're not opening them on your main.
Dungeon Runs: A Quick Switch-Up
After thoroughly farming the Hell Tides, we switch up our strategy to dungeons. We focus on dungeons with associated Whisper objectives to maximize our rewards. When the opal buff is active, these dungeons have a good chance of dropping additional boss materials.
Choosing Efficient Dungeons
For speed, we stick to dungeons without too many objectives. Non-main dungeons are ideal since you can clear them faster. We complete two dungeons and pick up another Whisper cache for more loot and materials.
The Second Hell Tide and Planning Ahead
With the first Hell Tide complete, we take a brief break and reassess our strategy. After an hour, the second Hell Tide begins, and we repeat the same steps: farm all chests and Tortured Gifts in both zones, prioritizing Mystery Chests.
Expectations and Farming Efficiency
On average, each Hell Tide yields around 70 Living Steel. So, after two hours, we should have approximately 140 Living Steel. At this point, We're also farming additional Exquisite Blood from the Blood Maiden and collecting Green Favors for the Tree of Whispers.
Wrapping Up the Hell Tides: Final Numbers
By the end of the second Hell Tide, we gather 147 Living Steel, exceeding our expectations. We also have a substantial amount of Exquisite Blood, Malignant Hearts, and Distilled Fear. Now It's time to decide how to spend our newfound wealth.
Trading Materials and Gold
Using Diablo's trading website, we start selling our boss materials. We list Exquisite Blood for 2 to 3 million gold each and quickly find buyers. We sell 50 Distilled Fear for 4 million each, netting us 200 million gold.
We aim to sell our Living Steel for around 3.5 million gold per piece, which nets us an impressive 525 million gold. Altogether, we amass over 1 billion gold, which we plan to use for buying Duriel summoning materials.
With our massive gold stash, we buy 30 Shards of Agony and 30 Mucus Slick Eggs for a total of 600 million gold. This gives us the materials to summon Duriel 15 times, with 200 million gold left over for potential additional runs.
Summoning Duriel: The Moment of Truth
We find a group on Discord and plan to run 10 rotations of Duriel, totaling 40 kills. The chances of a Mythic unique drop increase with each kill, so We're optimistic. After a few unsuccessful attempts, we finally score a Mythic unique on our 13th kill—a Melted Heart of Selig!
We continue the runs and, on our 35th Duriel kill, land another Mythic unique—a brand-new Mythic unique helm introduced this season. With two Mythic uniques in hand, we call the challenge a success.
In the end, we manage to farm over 800 million gold in just two hours and secure two Mythic uniques through efficient farming and trading. This route is highly lucrative, especially with current boss material prices. If you're looking to maximize your gold and materials, we highly recommend trying this strategy before prices fluctuate.
