Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 8 Release Date Revealed

If your Diablo 2 Resurrected character has been pretty stagnant recently, then you might want to pick the game back up pretty soon. The next season or ladder of the game is set to launch and we've got everything you need to know about it below.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 8 Release Date

The Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 8 release date will be on August 23. The new season will bring in a few fixes and new rewards to dig into. You've still got a few days to go before the new season arrives so you might want to max out your character in the current ladder. Here are the launch times for the new ladder.

The good news is that you can preload the update starting on Aug. 20. In doing so, you can guarantee immediate access to the new season once it arrives. Just like in the previous seasons, you'll have access to different game modes.

• Original LadderThis Ladder mode offers the classic experience, with gameplay limited to the first four acts.
• Original Hardcore LadderIn this hardcore variant of the Original Ladder, you have only one life, and gameplay is restricted to the first four acts.
• Expansion LadderIn this Ladder mode, you can experience gameplay across all five acts, including content from the "Lord of Destruction" expansion.
• Expansion Hardcore LadderThis hardcore version of the Expansion Ladder gives you just one life to explore all five acts, including the "Lord of Destruction" expansion.
