Delirium can be used as a medium budget helm for mercenaries and Windy Druids. Its defining feature is the 1% Chance to Cast Level 50 Delirium which turns your character into an Undead Rat Man (Bone Fetish). This is normally considered a severe debuff which makes the helm unusable for most classes. Druids are able to use their natural shapeshifting skills to cancel the effects of this morph which makes this helm semi-viable.

The most common use of Delirium is to make it in a +3 Tornado pelt for a total of +5. This can be used until the Druid is able to acquire a Rare +5 or Magic +6 Pelt. Both the base and the runes can be found within a reasonable amount of time. Ist Runes can be acquired from the Hell Difficulty Hellforge Quest or by running Hell Countess.

Delirium is occasionally used as a mercenary helm for the purpose of running Baal. Ordinarily, each minion wave must be killed or lured out of the Throne Room before Baal spawns the next wave. However, if the monsters are confused, Baal does not register them anymore and will immediately proceed to spawn the next wave. This is an interesting option for characters who have troubles with immune monsters or a lack of AOE damage since you will only need to kill the Unique.

DELIRIUM FORM

Delirium is considered a serious debuff because the user is unable to use their special attacks and spells in this form. The debuff lasts one minute. The only abilities that still work in Delirium form are Paladin Auras, Passives, Any Buffs that were applied prior (Holy Shield, Battle Orders etc.) and Druid Shapeshifting Abilities.

The Bone Fetish base works off a different set of breakpoints to your normal character. It does not have a blocking animation so the FHR animation and breakpoints are used instead when blocking.
