Patch 2.8 has brought some notable balance tweaks, changes to underused skills, and enhancements that shake up the ladder meta. This tier list ranks the top character builds for PvM (Player vs. Monster) gameplay, focusing on solo play, ladder viability, and efficiency in farming or leveling.

Tier Breakdown

• S-Tier: Best-in-class builds with insane clear speed, survivability, and gear flexibility.
• A-Tier: Strong and consistent performers in most content.
• B-Tier: Viable builds with moderate gear; may require more effort.
• C-Tier: Niche, fun, or heavily gear-dependent builds.

S-Tier

• Blizzard Sorc – The queen of cold damage. High damage, great crowd control, and top-tier for Chaos/Ancient Tunnels farming.
• Lightning Sorc – With Infinity, this build melts everything. Best for Cows, Chaos, and Baal runs.
• Hydra Orb Sorc (Hybrid) – Versatile and safe. Ideal for MF and hardcore players.

A-Tier

• Fireball/Firewall Sorc – Powerful with gear, but struggles with immunes until you get Infinity.

Assassin

S-Tier

• Trapsin (Lightning Sentry) – Top pick for new ladder starts. Easy to play, safe, and scales well.

A-Tier

• Hybrid WW Trap Sin – Great for PvP and niche PvM builds. Needs gear to shine.

Druid
